I am working on a retro candy project for one of my customers. I have a whole pile of candy on my desk but I feel like I still need more. Does anyone have any candy they remember from their childhood. Please leave a comment if you have any ideas........

Nicky, the gum is called Big LEague Chew. Those are all ones that I have thought of. But, if you go to Cracker Barrel right by your house, they have a candy shop inside, and right up against the wall they have hundreds of candies from way beack, even ones you would never remember. You need to go there :)

I also remember bottle caps, big cherry, candy necklaces, candy rings (the ones with a plastic base and a giant candy gem on top), uno, chick-o-sticks, sixlets. That's all I can remember at the moment. Good luck!

Bazooka bubble gum, abba zabba, Doublemint and Juicyfruit gum, cigarette gum, long rope licorice, the wax lips at halloween, pink mints (those were my dads favorites, hence that's what we got for a treat, if you call it that...). I'll try and think of more.

the only thing i'd add to your long list, if you don't already have it, is the smartie suckers. I'm not sure if thats even what they were called, but they tasted like smarties and were two colors, like purple and yellow or pink and yellow. I would buy them from the candy shack at my brother's little league games and then we'd also buy the licorice rope for my brother and big hunk for my dad.
