One Little Word Blog Hop

Well it took 2 months but I have finally picked my One Little Word for 2012.
The word is Refine.

I originally thought I wanted my word to be discipline but it seemed like such a sad, mean word. I realized I can accomplish all of the same goals with the bright and shiny word refine. I have finished the page for January and realized my word means so much more than I realized.

The word cultured was in the definition and I had not really thought about that aspect of refine. Another part of the definition was to "make fine distinctions in thought or language". That made me think about thinking and saying nice things to others - becoming more socially refined. I had not even thought of that but I am now so excited to make that part of my word.

If you are part of the OLW blog hop your next stop is Beth's blog at www.thesingularlyordinary.blogspot.com
If you get lost here is a list of all of the blogs.

Lovely sparkly word! How fun to find new aspects of your word, perhaps you can throw a tea party to show off your refinements? ;)

I am so glad you found your word. I really love the word refine (and you had me laughing with your description of discipline - agree totally). Your post is wonderful and your first two pages are great! Thank you.

I LOVE the word refine! It can mean so many things! The Jan prompt work that you completed is exquisite! You did a great job with it. Good luck with the photo prompt! Keep with it! Good luck with your OLW in March! -Amanda

Great word and I love your page. I don't like the word 'discipline' either...I either feel like I'm in trouble or failing. :)
